Where do we stay?
We recommend staying on the Las Vegas Strip or in Downtown Vegas. The hotels near Stallion Mountain and along Boulder Highway tend to be a bit greasy and aren’t the best for enjoying your time in Vegas. You’ll need to take a Lyft or Uber to get to Stallion Mountain for the wedding anyway, so you might as well stay somewhere fun! You’ll have a much better time soaking up the real Vegas experience.
Who should we fly?
If you’re flying out of Grand Rapids, Southwest and Allegiant offer the best nonstop options to Vegas. If you're coming from Detroit or Chicago, you're spoiled for choice—pick your favorite airline, because they’ve all got plenty of flights heading to the neon lights.
Dennis, figure it out.
What should we wear?
Vegas has a vibe, and so do we! Dress to impress for the wedding—think cocktail attire with a little flair. And yes, comfy shoes are always a smart move.
Is there parking available at the venue?
Yes, there’s parking available at Stallion Mountain if you’re driving. If you're drinking at the reception, (or partaking in anything else) we highly recommend you utilize Uber or Lyft. Overnight parking is available.
How far is the venue from the Strip?
About 15–20 minutes by car. Plan to grab a Lyft or Uber to Stallion Mountain—we recommend staying somewhere fun and catching a ride over.
Can I bring my vape pen to the alter?
Only if it matches your outfit and doesn’t fog out the officiant.
Can we make a vacation out of it?
Absolutely! It’s Vegas, baby. Shows, casinos, pool parties, nature, sports, world-class dining—there’s something for everyone. Make a weekend of it!
Will there be an open bar?
You know it. Come ready to raise a glass (or three) with us.
What time should we arrive at the venue?
Plan to arrive about 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to get settled, grab a seat, and soak it all in.
Will there be food?
Yes—plenty! Come hungry, because we’ll be serving up a full dinner buffet plus desserts and drinks.
Can I bring a tiger to the reception?
Only if it's wearing a bow tie and you have a solid Hangover-style plan for its care. (But seriously—no tigers.)
What should I pack for a Vegas wedding in December?
Layers are your friend! Vegas in December is usually mild during the day (50s–60s°F) and can get chilly at night (think 40s°F). Bring a jacket for evenings, cute but warm outfits, and don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen—sunshine’s still going strong even if it’s cool.
