Tim and Cheyenne go way back. Like third grade back. They've been in each other’s lives longer than most streaming services have existed. Somewhere between spelling tests and awkward middle school dances, a lifelong connection started brewing—though it took a few decades, a cat café, and a questionable road trip to really take off.
They briefly dated in high school, which, like most high school relationships, involved minimal eye contact and maximum overthinking. Then life did its thing: Tim moved to Las Vegas, Cheyenne stayed in Michigan, and they drifted apart like every early-2000s rom-com power couple.
Years later, Tim came back to Kalamazoo for a visit, and he and Cheyenne decided to meet up for coffee—at a cat café, because clearly nothing screams "rekindled romance" like espresso and twelve cats silently judging you. But somehow, it worked. One date in, and they were both thinking, “Wait… is this happening?”
It was.
Next thing you know, Cheyenne was stuffing her life into a Ford EcoSport the size of a large backpack, and the two of them were driving across the country to start fresh in Vegas. If you can survive 30+ hours of highway playlists, drive-thru food, and “are we lost?” moments in a car with no leg room, you're basically ready for marriage.
On August 5th 2023 in Nashville, Tim proposed. Cheyenne said yes—probably because the ring was shiny, but mostly because the timing, the love, and the vibes were right.
Now they spend their days bowling with shocking levels of competitiveness, traveling wherever flights are cheap, and playing tourists on the Las Vegas Strip like it’s their first time seeing neon lights. At home, they’re outnumbered by their three cats—Roxie, Willy, and Josie Jo—who graciously allow them to live there and occasionally sit on the couch.
And soon, they'll be taking the biggest step yet: getting married—officially, legally, and with a lot of snacks at the reception.
